Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Must be classed as an Overseas fee paying student based on the UK government regulations and be self-funded (not sponsored).
Applicants who are unsure of their fee status should note Brunel uses the information they have provided in their application form to assess fee status against regulations set by the UK government.
For information on these regulations please visit the independent organisation UKCISA’s website.
Must have an offer to study on the full time MSc Financial Mathematics or MSc Statistics with Data Analytics programme starting in September 2024.
All applicants must meet all conditions of their offer by the time they are due to register at Brunel. Candidates must pay their £5,000 tuition fee deposit within one month to secure their award.

Registration requirements
Applicants must submit a 300-word statement which describes:
- How your academic study and other activities merit receipt of the scholarship.
- How an MSc degree in the Department of Mathematics at Brunel University London will assist you in meeting your career aspirations.
- How you can act as a good ambassador for the Department, both while on the course and later as an alumnus.
